Getting There
when and where
Pensacola: The closest airport for our wedding is Pensacola International Airport (PNS). It’s approximately a 1 hr drive to the Daphne / Fairhope area. There shouldn’t be any tolls on your drive. This is a smaller airport so flight availability and prices fluctuate with the season.
New Orleans: The other airport we often fly into is New Orleans International Airport (MSY). It’s approximately a 2.5 hr drive to the Daphne / Fairhope area and you can make the drive avoiding tolls. This is a major airport and will give you more flight options. Just make sure to give yourself plenty of time to make the drive and get through TSA.
Daphne is a 1 hr drive from Pensacola, a 5.5 hr drive from Jacksonville, a 7 hr drive from Houston, 27 hrs from Las Vegas, and 29 hrs from L.A. The majority of the drive is a straight-shot down I-10.
The reception venue is about 20 minutes away from the church.

Jubilee Suites
Boutique Hotel, Bed & Breakfast · $$$
If you’re looking for a boutique hotel with a view, Jubilee Suites in Fairhope is where you’d want to stay. It’s 15 mins away from our reception location and close to downtown Fairhope — with cute shops! There are 1 and 2 bedroom suites with kitchens and dedicated parking, on a bluff with access to the bay.
Emma’s Bay House
Boutique Hotel, Bed & Breakfast · $$$
With spectacular views directly overlooking Mobile Bay, Emma’s Bayhouse exudes traditional Southern charm without being stuffy or fussy. It’s 15 mins away from our reception location and close to downtown Fairhope, with 4 rooms to choose from — all with their own unique features.
Hampton Inn – Fairhope
Hotel · $$
This Hilton property is located right in downtown Fairhope. It’s about 10 mins from our reception location and within walking distance of shops and restaurants, with ample parking. A typical Hampton Inn — nothing fancy, but a good place to rest your head, and a great balance between price and convenient location.
Holiday Inn Express – Fairhope
Hotel · $$
The closest hotel to our reception location — at less than 10 minutes away. It’s pet-friendly and has free parking available. This is a newer IHG property and is still just minutes away from downtown Fairhope. Another budget-friendly-ish hotel option to look at.
The Grand Hotel & Resort
Hotel · $$$$
If you’re planning on making a mini-vacation out of the trip, this Marriott Autograph Collection Resort is the luxury option. The sprawling property is beautiful — with bayside views, a pool, beach access, a golf course, and a spa. It’s about 10 minutes from our reception location, and the most expensive option, but it is a nice treat.
